April wasn't the best reading month I've ever had but, it was good! I read six books, which is basically twice as many as the books I read last month. So yeah, not really that bad now that I think about it!
*Toward A Secret Sky By Heather Maclean
Rating: 🎈🎈🎈🎈🎈
Would I recommend it?

Definitely! It was a very unique read with some very interesting characters and unexpected plot twists! I really enjoyed the writing as well as the way the story developed!

*Moon Called {Mercy Thompson #1} By Patricia Briggs
Rating:🎈🎈🎈🎈🎈
Would I recommend it?

This was a re-read for me, one of my favorite books EVER so, obviously, I cannot recommend it enough! If you enjoy Paranormal stories and love werewolves, then I have no doubt that you'll definitely fall in love with Mercy and her adventures as well!

*A Beautiful Sin By Terri E. Laine & A.M. Hargrove
Rating: 🎈🎈+
Would I recommend it?

Not really. It was definitely not my cup of tea and I definitely found it lacking in a lot of ways. It has a lot of religious elements in it, which I usually avoid and a forbidden romance that wasn't as enjoyable to read as I had expected. If you're a fan of these things though, go ahead and pick this one up because you might enjoy it!
*Lost Rider {Coming Home #1} By Harper Sloan
Rating: 🎈🎈🎈
Would I recommend it?

This was an okay book for me so, if you find the synopsis interesting, I'd say just go for it. I didn't hate but, I obviously didn't love it either. The beginning itself was quite promising but, the story just kept dragging on and on without something interesting and exciting actually happening throughout it.

*The Otto Digmore Difference By Brent Hartinger
Rating: 🎈🎈🎈🎈
Would I recommend it?

Yes! I didn't expect this book to be so interesting to read and I immensely enjoyed it after the first couple of chapters I personally needed to get more invested in the story and its characters! It was a very eye opening read, with beautiful writing that explored the main character's journey into accepting but also discovering his self!

*It Started With Goodbye By Christina June
Rating: 🎈🎈🎈🎈🎈
Would I recommend it?

Yes! This is such a fun and quick read! I could not put it down and I definitely recommend it if you're a fan of contemporary! Stay tuned for the blog tour coming up this week, where you can get to enter an amazing Giveaway and, of course, read my full review!

I literally have no idea why it actually took me this long to read this book! It's been on my shelves for years and I'm so glad I decided to finally pick it up. It is amazing and I'm almost finished with it so, review coming up soon!
I only managed to post three reviews this month which is kind of disappointing. I really wanted to post at least one discussion per week but, it didn't really work out.

  3. You had an excellent month for blogging. I so enjoy the background paper of your blog. I haven't read your current read either. Can't wait to read your thoughts on it.

    1. Thank you so much! I've already finished reading it so, can't wait to share my thoughts on it! I actually didn't expect to like it as much as I did and I think that's one of the main reasons I hadn't picked it up sooner!

  4. I loved Shadow and Bone - I put it off for far too long myself. Now I just have to move on to book 2! :)
